There is always a long queue for a seat at the newly opened Antoinette at Mandarin Gallery whenever we pass by. We decided to join in the queue before I leave SG to see what the fuss is all about.
The queue took more than an hour!!! Bored, mom and I took turns to queue.
Halloween decoration from a nearby restaurant while it was my time to walk around.
We are finally seated!
We had to wait for a long while for our food to arrive so we decided to take pictures of the surrounds. As you can see, the place is pretty dim.
Salted caramel chocolate cake. It was good but not enough salted caramel in it to be called a salted caramel cake.
Mushroom soup. It was too thick and chunky for our liking.
Carbonara was good but not unlike Canele’s.
Chicken and mash was average according to mom.
Breads that were small and plain.
All in all, Antoinette wasn’t what the queues cracked out to be and we won’t be going back anytime soon.
The best thing that came out of the meal was this little silver box containing our bill. We happily parted our monies into the box!
